My philosophy
The coaching philosophy that I use is based on the Inner Game principles that were developed by Tim Gallwey in the early 1970’s and have been applied to many aspects of human endeavour.
Initially, I was trained in these methods in the early 1990’s by Sir John Whitmore and have been practicing them in various mediums since. I then went on to study and obtain a diploma in counselling in 2002 and, following further training with Sir John Whitmore and Caroline Harris, qualified as a tutor to train coaches to use Inner Game Principles. This led to me becoming a co - founder and tutor for Inner Works Coaching, who provide tailor made training courses and consultation for sports coaches and players.
By putting people first and working from the philosophy that potential is within us all, the coaching taps into the knowledge and experience of the people in your business which not only accesses untapped potential but creates a culture within the business of loyalty and teamwork growing peoples self belief and confidence raising performance, productivity and profit.
